Ingredients
  

For the Chai Tea
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon chai tea leaves or 1 chai tea bag Use loose leaves for a stronger flavor.
For the Latte
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy) Almond milk or oat milk can be great alternatives.
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup Adjust to taste.
  • Sweetener Optional, to taste.
  • Ground cinnamon For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil the water in a small pot.
  2. Add the chai tea leaves or tea bag to the boiling water. Let it steep for about 5 minutes.
  3. In another pot, heat the milk over medium heat until it's warm but not boiling.
  4. After steeping, remove the tea from heat. Strain the tea leaves if you used loose leaves.
  5. Mix the brewed chai tea with the warm milk.
  6. Stir in the vanilla syrup and sweetener, if using.
  7. Pour into a cup and sprinkle a little ground cinnamon on top for garnish.

Notes
