Preparation
- Boil the water in a small pot.
- Add the chai tea leaves or tea bag to the boiling water. Let it steep for about 5 minutes.
- In another pot, heat the milk over medium heat until it's warm but not boiling.
- After steeping, remove the tea from heat. Strain the tea leaves if you used loose leaves.
- Mix the brewed chai tea with the warm milk.
- Stir in the vanilla syrup and sweetener, if using.
- Pour into a cup and sprinkle a little ground cinnamon on top for garnish.
