Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
  3. Place a teaspoon of cream cheese and a teaspoon of strawberry jam in the center of each square.
  4. Fold the corners of the pastry squares to the center, pinching to seal them.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let them cool and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
