Ingredients
  

For the tea base
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 bags black tea
  • 1 cup milk (or any milk alternative) Almond, soy, or oat milk can be used.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the spices
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 2-3 pieces whole cloves
  • 2-3 pieces cardamom pods
  • to taste fresh or ground ginger

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  2. Add black tea bags, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom pods, and ginger.
  3. Let it simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Add milk and sugar, stirring to combine.
  5. Bring to a gentle boil and then remove from heat.
  6. Strain the tea into cups.
  7. Stir in vanilla extract just before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes
