Brewing the Tea
- In a pot, add water, green cardamom, cloves, black pepper, and ginger. Bring to a boil.
- Add the chai patti and saffron strands. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Pour in the milk and bring it to a boil again.
- Strain the chai into cups and add sugar to taste.
- Serve hot.
