  • 2 tablespoons loose black tea leaves (or 2 black tea bags)
  • 2-3 pods green cardamom pods Crushed slightly
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar Adjust to taste
  • 1 cup milk (whole or any preferred type)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Crush the cardamom pods slightly and add them to the boiling water.
  3. Add the black tea leaves (or tea bags) and sugar, and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add the milk and bring the mixture back to a boil.
  5. Strain the tea into cups and serve hot.
