Dough and Sauce
  • 1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (or marinara sauce)
Toppings
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • as desired assorted toppings: pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, olives, etc. Get creative with your toppings!
  • to taste dried oregano (optional) For seasoning
For Brushing
  • as needed olive oil For brushing the edges

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until it's about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Use a cookie cutter to cut the dough into heart shapes.
  4. Place the heart-shaped dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce on each pizza, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, then add your choice of colorful toppings.
  7. Brush the edges of the dough with olive oil to help achieve a golden crust.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  2. Let the mini pizzas cool for a minute before serving.
  3. Arrange them on a platter for a fun presentation.
