  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef to reduce grease.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Adjust to taste; low sodium can be used.
  • 2 cups cooked rice Can use brown, jasmine, or cauliflower rice.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Garnishes
  • Green onions, sliced For garnish.
  • Sesame seeds For garnish.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add sesame oil and sauté minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Pour in soy sauce and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring often.
  4. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice.
  5. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
