- Boil water in a saucepan. Add green tea leaves and baking soda. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the water reduces to about half.
- Strain the tea into another pot, discarding the leaves.
- Whip the tea vigorously for several minutes until it becomes frothy and changes to a pink color.
- Add milk and sugar to the whipped tea, and continue to whisk until everything is well combined.
- Add cardamom powder and mix again.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped pistachios and almonds.
