Ingredients
  

Spices for the mix
  • 4 tablespoons green cardamom (whole) Use whole for fresher taste.
  • 3 tablespoons cloves
  • 3 tablespoons black peppercorns Adjust for spicier mix.
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon sticks Add more for a sweeter mix.
  • 2 tablespoons ginger (dried or fresh)
  • 1 tablespoon nutmeg (grated)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Combine all the spices in a spice grinder or mortar and pestle.
  2. Grind the mixture to a fine powder.
  3. Store in an airtight container.
Serving
  1. To enjoy, add 1-2 teaspoons of the spice blend to a cup of hot black tea.
  2. Stir well and let it steep for a few minutes.
  3. Add milk and sweetener if desired.
