Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Optional

  • 1 piece heart-shaped cookie cutter

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
Mixing
  1. Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until just combined. If using, fold in chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  2. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  3. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
Cutting and Serving
  1. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out heart-shaped brownies.
  2. Serve warm or at room temperature. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate.
