Ingredients
  

For the pizza roses
  • 1 can pizza dough Store-bought pizza dough for convenience.
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce Feel free to substitute with pesto or Alfredo sauce.
  • 6-8 slices mozzarella cheese Other cheeses like cheddar or gouda can also be used.
  • 12-18 slices pepperoni Can be replaced with veggies, sausage, or any protein.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) to preheat.
  2. Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Unroll the pizza dough onto a clean surface and cut it into six long strips, about 1-2 inches wide.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on each strip, leaving a small border.
  5. Cut mozzarella cheese into slices that fit along the strips and layer them over the sauce.
  6. Arrange pepperoni slices on top of the cheese, with half hanging off the edges.
  7. Roll each strip of dough into a tight rose shape and tuck the ends underneath.
  8. Place each rose in the greased muffin tin.
Baking
  1. Bake the muffin tin in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
