  • 1/3 cup 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 3/4 cup 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg 1 large egg, beaten Can substitute with 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce for a vegan option.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup 1 cup all-purpose flour

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4x8 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in melted butter.
  3. Mix in baking soda and salt.
  4. Stir in sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Mix in flour until just incorporated.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
Baking
  1. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
