Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 2 cups flour All-purpose flour is recommended.
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon Ground cinnamon.
  • 0.25 teaspoon nutmeg Ground nutmeg.
Wet ingredients
  • 1.5 cups mashed bananas About 3-5 bananas, depending on their size; should be ripe.
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup oil Can use vegetable or canola oil.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In a larger mixing bowl, add the sugar, oil, eggs, and mashed bananas. Mix these ingredients together until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix just until combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Baking
  1. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Once baked, remove from the oven and cool completely before cutting.
