Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, water, and oil until combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch cake pan.
- Sprinkle the shredded coconut and chopped pecans evenly over the batter.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the batter and coconut/pecan layer.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Use a knife to swirl the cream cheese mixture lightly into the batter.
Baking
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
