  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 medium ripe bananas, mashed Make sure they are very ripe.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and lemon juice; whisk until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined. Fold in mashed bananas, sour cream, and walnuts.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Baking
  1. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  2. Allow it to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
