  • 1 cup marinara sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cooked pasta (optional)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
  2. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Shred the chicken and return it to the soup.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and cooked pasta if using.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
