Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas Make sure they are very ripe for the best flavor.
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour Can be replaced with gluten-free flour for a gluten-free version.
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon Adjust according to taste preference.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Can be replaced with maple syrup for a different sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation and Mixing
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Mix in the melted butter.
  4. Stir in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  6. Finally, stir in the flour until just combined.
  7. In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and brown sugar for the swirl.
Assembly and Baking
  1. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then top with the remaining batter and sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  2. Use a knife to swirl the mixtures together slightly.
  3. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
