Ingredients
  

Chicken Filling
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced Use leftover rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese You can substitute with pepper jack for a spicier version.
  • 0.25 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 0.25 cups sour cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Wrap Ingredients
  • 4 large tortillas Whole wheat tortillas can be used for a healthier option.
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted Brush on wraps for a golden crust.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional) Adds a fresh touch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the shredded or diced cooked chicken to the garlic cheese sauce. Stir until the chicken is evenly coated with the mixture.
  3. Lay out each large tortilla on a flat surface. Evenly distribute the chicken mixture among the tortillas, spreading it down the center of each.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese generously over the chicken mixture on each tortilla.
Cooking
  1. Carefully fold and roll each tortilla tightly around the filling to form a wrap.
  2. Brush the outside of each wrap lightly with the melted butter.
  3. Heat a large skillet or pan over medium heat. Place the wraps seam side down in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy and the cheese inside has melted.
  4. Remove the wraps from the pan and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm for best flavor and texture.
