  • 2 cups milk Use whole milk for creaminess or any non-dairy alternatives.
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder You can opt for dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Adjust based on preference; can be omitted.
  • a pinch cardamom An aromatic spice that enhances the chai flavor.
  • a pinch cinnamon Great for adding warmth and depth.
  • Whipped cream Optional topping; can add mini marshmallows for fun.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil 2 cups of milk in a saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, add the chai tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags, and whisk in cocoa powder, sugar, cardamom, and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Heat through without boiling.
  5. Serve hot, optionally topped with whipped cream.
