Preparation

Frosting
- While the cake is baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating the cream cheese with the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Assembly and Serving
- Once the cake is baked and cooled, frost it with the cream cheese frosting.
- Drizzle additional caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with salt if desired.
- Slice and serve at room temperature, optionally with whipped cream or extra caramel sauce.
