Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugars; whisk until well-mixed.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just combined, then add chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop portions onto the prepared baking sheet (about five large cookies per sheet).
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes (12 for gooey texture), until golden around the edges.
