Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted Use unsalted butter.
  • 3 large ripe bananas, mashed Use overripe bananas for best flavor.
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Can replace some with whole wheat flour for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Honey can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon Increase to 1 teaspoon for a stronger flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by greasing it.
  2. Melt the butter in a large bowl.
  3. Mash the ripe bananas into the melted butter using a fork.
  4. Mix in the eggs and vanilla until well combined.
Mixing
  1. In another bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  2. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
