Ingredients
  

For the tea
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk You can use almond or soy milk for a unique taste.
  • 2 tablespoons black tea leaves Loose-leaf tea is recommended for richer flavor.
  • 2-3 tablespoons sugar Adjust to taste or substitute with honey or agave syrup.
  • 1-2 pieces green cardamom pods Adjust spice levels according to your taste.
  • 1-2 pieces cloves Use fresh spices for best flavor.
  • 1 small piece ginger Can be sliced or grated.
  • 1 stick cinnamon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a pot, combine water, cardamom, cloves, ginger, and cinnamon; bring to a boil.
Brewing
  1. Add black tea leaves and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add milk and sugar, and bring to a boil again.
Serving
  1. Strain the tea into cups and serve hot.

Notes
