Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast You can use active dry yeast instead, but proof it in warm water first.
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ½ cup warm water About 110°F; make sure it's warm, not hot, to activate the yeast.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar.
  2. Stir in the warm water and olive oil until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover the dough with a clean towel and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes to allow a quick rise.
Baking
  1. After resting, shape the dough into a round loaf or small oval, depending on the size of your air fryer basket.
  2. Line the basket with parchment paper or lightly grease it, then place the dough inside.
  3. Set the air fryer to 330°F and bake the bread for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the top is golden and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
  4. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
