- In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, ginger, cloves, and black peppercorns to the boiling water.
- Reduce heat and let the spices simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
- Stir in the astragalus and ashwagandha powder, and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a cup, add honey and milk if desired, and enjoy your warming adaptogen chai tea.

You can serve Adaptogen Chai Tea warm or hot. Add a sprinkle of cinnamon on top for extra flavor. Pairs well with cookies or a light snack. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
