  • 1 lb ground beef Make sure not to overcook the beef for best flavor.
  • 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (elbow macaroni or rotini) Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to add more cheese if desired.
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste Adjust spices according to preference.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce and season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to your prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Baking
  1. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
