Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the tomato sauce and season with salt and black pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to your prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Baking
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until heated through. This casserole can also be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
