  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened Low-fat cream cheese can be used for a lighter option.
  • 1 8 oz jar salsa Choose mild, medium, or hot according to preference.
  • 1.5 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains. Drain excess fat and mix in the taco seasoning.
Layering the Dip
  1. Spread the softened cream cheese on the bottom of a pie dish.
  2. Pour the salsa over the cream cheese.
  3. Spoon the cooked meat over the salsa.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar over the meat.
Baking
  1. Cover the dip with foil and bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
